Re: 'Daily Dog Duty'

This image reminds me of the recent Monthly Masters' Discussion posted by Minniev on the "Decisive Moment" . We can clearly see the story unfolding in front of us as we are all familiar with this practice. My question is this; "is this the decisive moment of the scene?" If yes, ...

Re: Dawn: Dec.5, 2010, Hamlin County, SD

From the late 60s through the 70s while on faculty at Iowa State University I spent considerable time in South Dakota carrying out field research on a variety of diseases of wildlife of the Northern Plaines. I was soon drawn to the wondrous aspects of winter in an environment quite foreign to a nat...

Re: 'Daily Dog Duty'

While out attempting to capture various subjects for a composite in the works, I could not resist this shot because it reminded me of some individual dog owners in my neighborhood that simply will not clean up after their pet, as to say I have my own duty to catch such individuals, with no success....

Re: Grist Mill

Hi all !!! Been away, but not really gone. After receiving a reminder, I thought I should post before I forget, again. This is a grist mill located in Babcock State Park, West Virginia. Taken in 2009 when I was more into landscape photography and think maybe I should take it up again. Thoughts and ...

Re: Kayaker Sunset (2011)

Ya, it sucks you don't do wildlife work with a flamingo like that. Wonderful, absolutely wonderful and thank you for sharing here! S-

Re: Why I Live At PM (photoMentoris) - add your story

Thanks Minnie !!! I do remember most of our conversation concerning photoMentoris, but wasn't aware, or don't remember you contacting Steve. Who knows, the whole New Orleans shoot may have been a hidden metaphor in regards to pM. I would like to think of it as some sorta karma? How we have gotten h...
