Re: Practice Session with Heddie

Thanks for the comments Steve. I generally use f8 @100sec w/ISO 100 in the studio. The softness your seeing with the lst portrait was using a Blur Vignette. Here is the portrait I gifted Heddie. I wondered about that, or at least how to reproduce it in-post and am happy to have another tool to use....

Re: 'Blue Moon of Kentucky'

Yea, I suppose this one forces you to move about. I thought about placing the wizard at the arch but it wasn't appealing to me. I'm waiting until something better comes along. Where he's at now is kinda questionable and possibly needs to be slightly larger, because you and probably others almost mi...

Re: Revisiting an old School Exercise

Your original is a little skewed, but ironically I've read your left side is your best side and you've shifted that way naturally. Neat! S- Which Side Is Your Good Side? Re: Foggy canyon made brighter

Thanks for your comments, Steve! This is the Yakima River Canyon Scenic Byway - the area where my eagles live :D I've also photo'd many bighorn sheep, a few American White Pelicans, and quite a number of landscapes. No plans for a series, though. It's only a rough idea, but I thought I might see if...

Re: New "Big Boy" Camera Finally

Thanks, Steve. I decided I did need a less "statuesque" 8~ avatar but I did up a new one (also with the new camera). I've been pretty sick with apparently chronic bronchitis but I am now trying to get back in the swing of things. I haven't had nearly as much time with the A6000 as I'd like but mayb...
