I like this but I see it in threes and think it's too cluttered compared to your other work here. The short analysis is the front row competes with the back row. I might keep the hurricane candle, Jack, and the candle front-right where they are. I would move the avatar candle behind the star in Jack...

I don't know enough about layers to help, but I will say the moon doesn't look real and I don't care, I like them all!

I especially like the third with the light coming through the leaf. They are all beautiful works of art! S-

I added the toning to the already kind of gold look. Ever experimenting, and still undediced :) about it working. Would be interested in seeing yours from that shoot. I have a hard time with edits too where I'm undecided on which to present, but in the end it all comes down to the story I'm trying ...

Yes High Pass is a very useful tool and it is a sharpening too. By changing the layer blend modes you can get a huge range of effects from it. In looking at the post above I can see that the re-compression has really boosted the blue I added, on my system prior to upload it was at about 50% of that...

I like them both, the first as the portrait of a young child and his siblings and the other of the extended family guarding over their young. I like the processing, and while it's easy to add more contrast do you want to? The impression I get is a foggy morning, why change that? These are both beaut...
