Re: Foggy canyon made brighter

Thanks for your comments, Steve! This is the Yakima River Canyon Scenic Byway - the area where my eagles live :D I've also photo'd many bighorn sheep, a few American White Pelicans, and quite a number of landscapes. No plans for a series, though. It's only a rough idea, but I thought I might see if...

Re: New "Big Boy" Camera Finally

Thanks, Steve. I decided I did need a less "statuesque" 8~ avatar but I did up a new one (also with the new camera). Re: Dave's Project 52

Week #8 and moving right along !!! I went out Sunday for awhile and came back with a couple of images that were make do. Not being satisfied I went out again Monday. Struggling for unique subject matter, I was about to give up for the day because I was running into a lighting issue. Having been to ...

Re: Monthly Master's Discussion Feb. 2018 - Andrew Wyeth's "Christina's World"

I'm fairly ignorant when it comes to art, and I mean that in the right way, neither having an education or really taking the time to understand them, so while I've seen this image before I didn't know who painted it or it's backstory. For me it could have just as easily been a girl sitting in the gr...

Re: St3v3M's 30 Day: Rule Of Thirds

I love the most recent three. Clearly you are on a cruise (if you mentioned it I was daydreaming out the window). I also think this is becoming a genre for you, and it's certainly a powerful learning tool. Your shots get better and better, holding interest without the need for off centering things....
