Re: Drop the Duck... eek!

What are you going to remember after the conversation is over, Charles or Duck? I understand your wife intent and it's admirable, but it's our scars that make us who we are and you've earned yours so own it and make it a part of everything you are! S-

I'd like to see the artist present this in the darker mood it deserves. S-

Re: New Orleans Ladies #1

NOLA is a character of it's own made up of those that live there, those that visit, and those somewhere in-between.

Re: 'Drink Up' (New Orleans Ladies #2)

I was talking to someone one and he said the worst part of being homeless is having everyone look the other way like they aren't even there. People walk past, over, and around, them trying to ignore them sometimes just on the edge themselves. It wasn't that he was mad, he just wanted to exist in the...

Re: Cityscape - Jackson Square at 10 Past 7

This is one of the iconic shots in NOLA and I love that you included the people to give it dimension. It must have been early to have missed the horse and buggy drivers, and I can only wonder how high up you were on the steps. As a side, I won a bet standing there, well sort of. I haven't been in that many relationships, but I've seen people kiss and I think this is one of the more interesting ones I've ever seen; no arms wrapped around one another, no hands holding. It's very powerful in its own sort of way! S-
