Re: My Corner Office

I'm still fiddling with editing tools that can be used on a mobile workflow while I'm away from my computer, internet, printer, and all my goodies. Texture is one thing I love working with but am still refining a way to do on the ipad. I'm trying not to invest in a new laptop if I can master a shor...

Re: The Secrets of Flowers

Considering there is som much activity going on, this presentation works well. Of course with the finer detail of the ants this is not an image you can appreciate on a small scale. It calls to be big. I particularly love how the line of ants are silhouetted along the stem against the light green of ...

Re: My Corner Office

I have to echo everyone's sentiments on this one. The scene is quiet and reflective and that little hint of movement comes across quite clearly. It's definitely warm and inviting but in a respectful way, not somber or intrusive. Kind of like visiting grandma's house while the rest of the family is i...

Re: Chuck Haacker's Lightroom Workflow as of March 2018 (Join In!)

I came late to the Lightroom party so it may be that, but I don't really understand introduction presets. Maybe it's the way I shoot, maybe the way I'm thinking about it, or both for it seems like my images are all different from one another so I would have a hard time relying on one preset or anot...

Re: Can we discuss a commercial job?

You've been enlightening and informative and I'm encouraged. For that I'm grateful. You're welcome, Steven. My replies have been rather open ended based on what is easily discoverable. If you need something more specific, let me know and I'll share with you what I can. I, by no means, consider myse...

Re: Can we discuss a commercial job?

Steven, there is no simple answer to your questions. I did a search an I think I found the jeweler you are talking about. I went through their website and FB page and I can see a wide variety of imagery. For their jewelry showcase , they seem to be simple white tent product shots with no 'wow' facto...

Re: Untitled

Duck, I am going to bookmark this critique. It is packed with good stuff that will take me some time to absorb and make "second nature." Where did you learn all this stuff? Thanks. Matt I am happy to hear you found such value in my critique. Just goes to show how there is always something to new to...

[...] but what really got my attention, there is no age limit to owning or riding a Harley motorcycle. Amazing !!! Dave My wife's friend's father lives in Florida and once a year makes the trip up to Connecticut on his three wheeled custom motorcycle. He is in his late 70's (maybe even early 80's, ...

Re: Untitled

If you feel like going into more detail I'd be interested...if you've better things to do I understand. thank you for the time you've already spent with comment. It seems many here are of the same mindframe. Realize people will 'step lightly' since it is your granddaughter and a personal issue. :-)...
