Re: Ballet (Swan Lake)

All of them are wonderful. The second is my favorite. You have such a talent for making face-free portraits that really grab the viewer, a rarity that breaks lots of rules and does it so well.

Re: AI Software

While I'm not sure I would want to hand over complete editing to an AI I can only imagine that using AI to 'normalize' an image is a great place to start. Although Lightroom and Photoshop can each do this to a pretty good degree. I took a look at the examples provided on the Photolemur site and the ...

Re: "Makah Maiden"

Like Minnie said, "very inspirational." Your's is definitely moodier due to the darker tones but I also feel it portrays more emotion through her expression. Curtis' seems more journalistic but I'm sure that was the original intent in his desire to document the native people of America. Thanks for s...

Re: Judas Tree - spring study

I like what you did in both on their own, however I am wondering how the two concepts would look married together. My only concerns are the overly wordy amount of text (perhaps shorten it) and the spotted look of the bold caps with that particular font. The caps really stick out (think in terms of t...

Re: St Mary's

Here is a painterly version [...], not sure it works. I think it works quite well. The flowering tree in the foreground rendering the chapel in a half hidden view works well, adding just a touch of mystery or expectation to the scene. The oil painting treatment really enhances the mood and works qu...

Re: Hennessy Very Special Cognac

Alrighty...
I took Frank's suggestion and changed up the titles to be a bit more relevant. I definitely like it so much more as everything ties in nicely.
Thank you Frank.

I also changed up the color to a more caramel shade. Oh, and I added the text.

Re: Hennessy Very Special Cognac

I hadn't considered possibly changing the titles to something relevant to the image. Now that you mention it I smack my forehead at how obvious that is. :wall: I'll have to think of some fun/funny titles to edit in. Thanks for the comment about the lighting. It was a single strobe in a stripbox, dou...
