Re: Doorway to a Hidden Garden

Two textures I have always loved are wood and stone. My dream house would be built with those two materials and I can picture the outside looking something like this. This appeals to me on many levels. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats. If you're working with a trusted contractor just worry about the bold strokes. Let him worry about the details. That's what he's there for.

[...] I expect the Monhegan trip/visit will be an educational experience, especial with your presence and skills to share. I'm sure we'll learn something new from each other. I'm looking forward to the visit !!!

Re: PM Retreat 2019 - Start Planning Now!

I thought I'd update this post...

I have scheduled this in my calendar. While I would love to attend with my wife it's looking more and more like I'll be traveling solo. ;(
I'll PM you for the details.

Thank you so much for the offer.

I think the "floating platform" effect causes the shadows to be too dark, losing some of the visual continuity of elevations across the plain. With pillars at least you have the edges to add to the visual cues about he...

C’mon, Duck, take the challenge! Make a Duck-Original out of flotsam and jetsam you grab up around that scary studio.

Sure, why not. I'll take a look around and see what comes together.

Re: Mr. Belvedere, I presume?

Thanks Minnie. I guess my desire to really isolate the structure causes the background to influence my view more than others who look at it.

I really am more than pleased with this and it's now a wallpaper on my laptop.

Re: Onion Moon ( Just For Fun - Wanta Try It Yourself? )

I do say, the onion moon is a good one.

I think astronomers should pick one of those lunar seasons and actually call it the Onion Moon.
I can see the amateur photographers around the globe lining up for that shot already. :D
