Didereaux, While I appreciate your time and comments I don't recall putting these images into the critique area. Best regards, Ernst First off you called this a practice session' that implies not the final product and would seem ot invite comments no matter where it were posted. You are a FOUNDER, ...

It has all the correct W-B-W factors. Lots of lines, no curves or circles. ONE, and only one focus point (all diagonal lines lead to it) and in the space there is the one and only moving/living object in the images universe, A running girl. A quickly running girl, you know that from arm position, le...

Re: It's OFFICIAL GOOGLE is not going to support NIK any longer

The solution I am using and have for a couple of years is this. I have an older Win7 laptop that I use for tethering mostly, but it has just enough power/mem to handle CC5/6 & LR6 so when NIK finally gets killed off I will still have it and all the non cloud BS on a usable computer. I simply swa...

Re: Cheyenne (Nudity)

1st one the hand looks like a 2d parties hand, and a mans at that. The hair on her shoulder right shoulder camera left) makes it appear as if a chunk is missing of her collar bone and that the shoulder protrudes sharply out. I am of the opinion that these could both be corrected using a small soft f...

An excellent article on NIK and what to do now...

IF you use NIK then you need to understand that it can be unusable with the next operating update, but no ones knows. This article ccovers all that, but more importantly it provides some practical workarounds fro serious photographers who use this collection.
Good article on NIK work-arounds.

Re: Backyard Raptors 4

Itty-bitty Eastern Screech Owl. About 6" tall, and ferocious! This one lit in the Angel trumpets late one evening and was courteous enough to wait around until i got the camera and a flash out and took a test shot. ;) I may have posted this one before, but am trying to get things organized wit...

Re: Backyard Raptors 3

Adult Cooper's Hawk. Hard to tell from a Sharp-shinned except that the Cooper's is slightly larger, the dark cap does not extend down the nape of the neck, the feet and talons are thicker and coarser, the tail is slightly rounded, and the eyes are set slightly forward in a more blocky skull. Colors...
