The hexagonal shapes are Christmas lights in the background shot at F8. They would have been round if I could have shot wide open at 2.8 but I would have sacrificed DOF. I didn't bump the saturation whatsoever. The flash seemed to amplify it and I didn't want to reduce it. Very little PP, mostly OOC...

Love the hippo Tom with the soft bokeh in the background. You captured animal emotion which really gives the image visual impact.

I like seeing eye contact but I find the environmental aspect of this shot hypnoptic which quickly made eye contact moot on this one. The soft vignette draws your eye in without overpowering. I like it.

According to another source he's generated over 500 million in sales throughout his career which is no small feat if it's true. Many say his work is over-saturated in PP but I'm reserving judgement. I do suspect he has one talent that many professional photographer cannot compete in magnitude... Mar...
