ABOUT ME:
In the digital era, as with the chemical photography - I have applied the time tested and proven past of making a photographic image into a print. I have always “looked toward the print”, even before opening the shutter, and because of this notebook, I write down what I am feeling, as well as how to make the print come out the best way I can. I usually quote Ansel Adams quite a lot when telling others about photography – “The Negative Is The Score (as in music)... The Print Is The Performance”.
And – “The Most Important Component of The Camera, Is The Twelve Inches Behind It”.
When I am about to capture an image I ask myself - What are you feeling? Why are you wanting this for others to see? Then there are only three things to consider - The sensitivity of the sensor (or ISO of the film). The Aperture setting to maintain a depth of field. And the Shutter speed. The ART mostly comes in the editing - either in the darkroom or the computer.

"As I "see" the music with my Ears -- I "hear" the Light with my Eyes".

Thank You.
